New Zoe SD-Card

Working in IT I am accustomed to never working on the only version of a application unless I have a backup. When I chat with renault on their support page they say it’s not possible to make a backup of the SD-Card which comes with the car. This seems incredible as they don’t last for ever and I’m sure its not impossible to make a mistake when updating or adding maps which will render the entire system useless. No doubt you can buy another one – but – backups would be the answer.

Has anyone found a way of doing this – there are plenty of apps available for cloning sd cards – mainly for the hobby raspberry pi community. I’m reluctant to buy any more maps until I know I have a backup.

Hi All,

I seem to be having issues with the SD Card Slot in my 14 plate Zoe. If I try to push it in, it will push itself back out, almost as if there is something spongy inside the slot, or possibly that there’s a bent pin or something.

Occasionally when I push it in it’ll stay there for a while, and the maps will come on, but gradually it will work itself out again. I’m find some popular answers at the best essay service, but it doesn’t help me.

I bought the car second-hand last July, and when I got it I removed the card to perform an update, but it took me a while to get it out, and feeling around the slot it felt like it had been glued into place, so it looks like the issue might have preceded my ownership, and the previous owners remedy was to permanently glue it into place!

Has anybody else had a similar issue with their cards? And would anybody know it it’s even possible to replace the SD Card slot?

I think I came at wrong place. Because here at paper writing sites everything seems so hard to do, plus they do not have anything helpful, which I was looking for. I don’t think if I can visit here again in my life, so dissapointed in them.
